Visual field testing is an important tool in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma. It is used to confirm that glaucoma has affected the visual function, to evaluate the severity and to monitor progression of the disease.
A YAG capsulotomy is a special laser treatment used to improve vision in case of requirement after cataract surgery. It is a simple, commonly performed procedure which is very safe. This equipment is also used for YAG laser peripheral iridotomy is performed almost exclusively for patients with narrow angles, narrow angle glaucoma, or acute angle closure glaucoma.
